2020 is an atypical year. The most relevant digital preservation events will not take place offline, but some of them will be online.
It is the case of iPRES. We have no iPRES this year, but this shouldn‘t stop us from exchanging work in progress and experiences with each other, as we usually do at the conference. A group of friends of iPRES who have each worked or submitted to the conference before has join efforts and giving birth to #WeMissiPRES, an online celebration of iPRES and the digital preservation community.
Join us for three half days of online iPres celebrations in September, including a mix of presentations, lightning talks, panels, and participant interaction, all supported by social and networking opportunities.
LIBNOVA, as a major world player in digital preservation, will share with the audience some insights about Artificial Intelligence and how it is applied to digital preservation, talk about digital preservation of research datasets and share its own insights about the future of digital preservation.
