The Royal Academy of the Spanish Language adopts libsafe as its digital preservation solution

Within the framework of the digitization project carried out by Telefónica, the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language (RAE) has selected libsafe to serve as a support for the digital preservation process for this prestigious Spanish institution’s library and archives digitization project.

In addition to libsafe, the RAE will employ libshare, libnova’s management tool for digital collections, for the dissemination of its digitized material.

The RAE, which has a valuable repository of high historical and cultural value, will be at the forefront of the application of the latest technologies that can be used for the development and dissemination of our language.
