LIBNOVA showcases its solutions in 2 demo sessions at RDA VP17

LIBNOVA is proud to sponsor for the first time the Research Data Alliance Plenary Session, held virtually in 2021, joining researchers and innovators from 145 different countries.

The 17th Plenary of the Research Data Alliance (RDA VP17) will take place on 20-23 April 2021 and will focus on the themes of global challenges, global mechanisms for data reuse, sustainable solutions with benefits for all, and global cooperation to realize these ends. The plenary will highlight several research use cases around global collaboration to address grand challenges and ensure societal impact of data reuse.

LIBNOVA will be taking part in two demo sessions:

  1. ARCHIVER Project Showcase: “Service R&D for Archiving and Preservation for Research Environments” on the 19th of April, at 16:00 CEST.
  2. LIBNOVA Demo Session: “Research Data Management and Preservation” on the 22nd of April, at 11:30 CEST.

Service R&D for Archiving and Preservation for Research Environments – April 19th at 16:00 CEST

The “Service R&D for Archiving and Preservation for Research Environments” event that will take place on the 19th of April, at 16:00 CEST, will focus on the current data preservation challenges addressed in the ARCHIVER Project.

Antonio G Martinez, CEO of LIBNOVA, will present the Data preservation solutions for High Energy Physics and Astrophysics, a CERN and PIC use cases demo, by using LABDRIVE.

LABDRIVE is the innovative digital archiving and preservation solution being develop by LIBNOVA Consortium for the ARCHIVER Project.

The workshop will be open and free of charge. Registration information and agenda: https://archiver-project.eu/rda-vp17

Research Data Management and Preservation – April 22nd at 11:30 CEST

The “Research Data Management and Preservation” demo session that will take place on the 22nd of April, at 11:30 CEST, will focus on how to approach digital preservation of research datasets in a research project and what are the main challenges in this field based on our experience.

Antonio G Martinez, CEO of LIBNOVA, will present LIBSAFE, the most advanced digital preservation platform developed by LIBNOVA, which offers solutions for all types of digital preservation projects. The focus will be on the Research Data Management and Preservation by using LABDRIVE, the specialized software for this purpose.

LABDRIVE is a management tool that helps you in the practical execution of what you need in the R&D projects, which complies with the FAIR principles. This tool would allow the whole Data Management Plan (mandatory in Horizon Europe) to comply with the Project Dataset Governance requirements.

LIBNOVA is open to participate in R&D projects helping the consortium to ensure appropriate data management by using LABDRIVE.
