LIBNOVA presents a Paper Talk and Poster at the 17th edition of the International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC22), to be held virtually from June 13-16, 2022.
The International Digital Curation Conference is a leading event on digital curation and Research Data Management, organize by the Digital Curation Centre.
Annually, the event brings together individuals, organisations and institutions across all disciplines and domains involved in curating data and providing an opportunity to get together with like-minded data practitioners to discuss policy and practice.
This year, the central theme of the 17th edition of the International Digital Curation Conference is Reusability.
The LIBNOVA team is proud to be involved with two presentations:
- A Paper Talk, together with David Giaretta, on the building a Petabyte scale, OAIS/ISO 16363 conformant, environmentally sustainable archive, tested by large scientific organisations to preserve their raw and processed data, software and documents.
- And, a Poster on the LIBNOVA-led consortium for the ARCHIVER project, which aims to show an example of successful cooperation between different public and private organizations, both within and outside the digital preservation community. LIBNOVA, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the University of Barcelona, Giaretta Associates, Voxility, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Bidaidea work together in a consortium within the ARCHIVER project, the most innovative digital preservation research and development project in Europe.
