LIBNOVA sponsors the XXIV Annual Meeting of the REBIUN Universitary Libraries Network which will take place in Palma de Mallorca from 9th to 11th of November
The Universitary Libraries Dean´s Conference, the Universitary Libraries Network and the Illes Balears University organize the XXIV Universitary Libraries Assembly 2016.
This Assembly, in which all national Universities plus the CSIC are represented, has been conceived as the forum to coordinate the definition, organization and follow up of all its projects and objectives.
LIBNOVA, as project sponsor, will present its digital preservation hardware and software solutions on November the 10th at the Jovellanos Building “Salón de Actos” of the UIB Campus.
Libsafe, Libnova´s digital preservation software, designed for the long term preservation of high value digital data, files and collections, is already being used, among others, by the Spanish National Library, Barcelona University, Granada University and the Illes Balears University, which is acting as the host of this event.
The REBIUN 2016 days will take place in two different locations, the 9th and 11th the venue will be the “El Aljub” room at the Es Baluard (Museu d’Art Modern i Contemporani, Palma de Mallorca) while the 10th it will take place at the “Salon de Actos” of the Jovellano´s Building at the Illes Balears’ University.
