Mexico’s National Library is organising their First Digital Preservation Conference (Primer Encuentro de Preservación Digital de México) through the Grupo de Preservación Digital (GPD).
During the conference both Mexican and International guests will talk about their experiences and the challenges institutions will face in the digital preservation field in years to come.
LIBNOVA will be available to explain about their own digital preservation solutions that are being used by countless institutions around the world, from very complex entities such as national libraries or archives to the more compact and less needy institutions.
The 1st Digital Preservation Conference (1er Encuentro de Preservación Digital) will take place on the 29th of November in Mexico City and with this event they will also be celebrating World Digital Preservation Day.
For those of you that are unable to attend, the event will be streamed live through the UNAM webcast and through the youtube UNAM Channel 2.
